Granular (Dust as Autobiography)
Dust, the debris that floats uncontrolled and unnoticed through the air, covering the surfaces of our domestic environments, possesses information. Dust marks time and frames memory; it is evidence of our existence.
Unwanted and discounted, the abrasion, decay, and entropy of our dust archives our unseen stories and contains our invisible signatures.
These monotypes are part of a wider, ongoing project exploring the autobiographical through the construction of visual narrative informed by the collection and examination of domestic dust.
